Description:
Lars found this Imperial in spring 2004 on ebaymotors USA. The car was restored and had the optional power windows and one of the rare Highway Hi-Fi record players.
He placed a maximum bit but another man placed a higher one and won the auction. Three weeks later, the seller send a mail to Lars and ask if he was still interested. The highbidder didn’t take the car so Lars could buy it at his maximum bid. Lars got the next plane to New York and bought the Imperial which was shipped to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The first trip followed, not without a risk because some fluids were at a low level. After arriving in Germany they were filled up. Since then the Imperial is running and running and running. It won some shows on American car meetings in Europe and took good places on Oldtimerrallys.
The Imperial got wire wheels in 2006.
